Extended Ploy [2010, April/May] Notes: My first compilation of noise, the Extended Ploy EP was started in late March with the creation of "IZFERNOR Rising" and "Froth" [making both songs took about 7 minutes]. Soon after I decided to remix the song "Never Say Never to Always", written by Charles Manson and sang by his family. [Smith Opens the Basement Door] and "Breaken Clocked" were conceived in a vacation house in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, which remains to be my favourite vacation spot. "dont throw knives- is a quote from one of my friends ex girlfriends, she sent the text to him when I was trying to think of another song name. All of my live performances close with "Never Say Never to Always". Only about five and a half minutes long.

Battle for the Tympanic Membrane [a 3-way split with RedSK, blahblahblah, and IZFERNOR] {Idea Conceived 2010 June 14th} RedSK: Notes: On the 14th of June, I sent Patrick of RedSK fame a message on MySpace. I wanted to make an official split, and I knew he was one of the best and most famous noise artists around. I offered to make it on my label, and he agreed. I also offered a spot on there for another artist who went by the name of ______, but his real noise name was mixedupmess. He gladly accepted. Soon after everyone agreed to make the split, I went to work on some songs. I managed to scrape together about nine minutes worth in a matter of days, most of which use a choppy styling where I shouted gibberish, cut it up, and added effects. This is where I first used keyboard and guitar, primarily on "Fallout in the Tympanic Membrane". "This is the last song I'm guna make today..." is entirely composed of me saying that line with different effects and chopped up. Due to lack of communication and lack of money, the split was officially released about 5 months later on the 1st of November. It's about thirty and a half minutes long, 50% of which being RedSK. 40 Copies were printed. As of now, there are some still available. Copies available for $5.oo, for details, e-mail me: mindlessishappiness@yahoo.com |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Goat [Remix CD] 01. [Smith Opens the Basement Door](tooth_eye remix) Ever since I received the first remix by tooth_eye I wanted to make an entire album of re-imagined IZFERNOR songs. There were a lot of cool people involved, and even though packaging it was close to a complete failure, it was a pretty fun ride. I think only 8 or so were intended, and probably even less were fully made. There might be a ruined copy or two laying around if anyone really wants it, otherwise the files are all here in the remix section, and below if you're lazy. My biggest regret was that I only had one remix of my own on here. I really wish I had been more involved somehow, but there was more than enough tracks already, and I compensated by throwing the only two live tracks on the CD as extras. I also made a remix of my friend Kyle Tansel's "Generic Breakup Song", which was a lot of fun to do. Finally, this was the first spotlight for my friend's noise project 'World Surround'. I plan on doing another remix CD in the eventual future, perhaps on TFR. Released mid 2011.

![]() The closed SPR004 Version ![]() The dissected SPR004 Version ![]() The TFR091 Version | Handpackaged SPR004-[TFR091] IZFERNOR, CMP2P, Jason EVIL Covelli, RedSK - 4way split Handpackaged came about during one of my visits with RedSK shortly after Faith in Modern Mother was released. I approached him to see if he wanted to release a short album of mine, 8 tracks worth of material. He was interested, and was impressed enough with my packaging of FiMM that he was inspired to do something similar, and insisted that I make my own version of the packaging. He also made it into a split featuring himself, his side project with hlo [whom I previously collaborated with in the Battle for the Tympanic Membrane split under the alias blahblahblah], called CMP2P, and Jason "EVIL" Covelli. My version of the packaging [seen to the left] involved the track listing on a piece of paper, folded over scrap cardboard which was taped together, mod-podg'd, and painted, tied together in full with rubber bands. It was a complete mess of a project, and I was miserable when I saw how my finished product looked. Since then though it has grown on me, and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. The TFR version can be seen in some of the pictures, I'm not fully sure how it was crafted but I'm quite fond of it. I also released 5 cassette copies, I think one might be left somewhere... Below are all the IZFERNOR songs on the split. Like the BftTM split, I may upload the rest of the files by the other artists at some point when I get their permission. For more information on each track, visit the handpackaged tab up top.

![]() | apikoros [Split featuring IZFERNOR and World Surround] World Surround is a good personal friend of mine since before I was listening to noise. When I found out she was experimenting with sounds in audacity like I was, I knew we had to do a split on my label as soon as possible. Of course, for me ASAP means the space between June and October of 2011. Either way, around September we got all the files in one spot and apikoros was made. The title comes from a term I saw in a book once, "Hurry Down Sunshine". Good read, a memoir about a man who's daughter goes insane. Per usual, 15 copies were printed. This was my first release to be put in a plastic sleeve like so many other noise labels do. The original plan was to put it in a full sized CD case like BftTM was, but I couldn't think of a good back photo. For all files and more information, go to the apikoros tab above, or click here |
![]() | Folding Up My Colors [EP bookended by World Surround] Folding Up My Colors was originally a compilation of material I made available in November 2011, primarily from a bunch of rejected audio meant to be on apikoros, and various other scraps I never made into full tracks. World Surround created the first and last tracks on the CD. The artwork is a still image from the movie "Nightmare Castle". There is audio in there somewhere from the movie "The Black Cat". Or "The Raven", I can't remember, one of the two staring Bela Lugosi and Boris Karloff. Released on miniCD, donated by TFR, limited to 15 copies. |
![]() | Watching Eileen [Split featuring Pollux and IZFernor] I've loved Pollux's work since I received a fresh copy of "Master Toad and Pollux Offer Their Souls"; a split which I still consider my favourite work of ambiance. He was mighty friendly and quick to respond to my request for a split on my label, his tracks were ready since March 9th of 2012. I cooked up some tracks and artwork by the 21st, then all was printed up and sent out. Each came with a card with a constellation on it. limited to 15 copies, lightscribe CDs. Note: I went all out on the printing for this, I'm really happy with how it looks. Less happy with how my tracks went, but I was on a bit of a time crunch and was dealing with a bit of software sabotage. But yeah, great printing. |
